Easter, a family wedding & snow!!!

We had a very early Easter this year, the last time we had a Easter this early was in 1913. On Saturday Steve's niece Rebekah was married to Matt Preston in a civil ceremony in Leicester and later that day were sealing in the London Temple for time and all eternity. Rebekah had asked Steve some months ago to compose a piece of music that she could walk in and out of the chapel to. I have to say he was some what nervous at the prospect of doing this as Rebekah didn't give him any idea of what she was looking for, luckily for Steve Rebekah loved it upon hearing it just 2 weeks before the wedding.

Many were amazed that he had composed the piece of music. They day went very well although cold, with a real mix of weather from, brilliant sunshine, snow, hail stones, wind and rain. Rebekah looked beautiful and was attended by several bridesmaids, her two sisters Kelly and Alice and Matt's two sisters were dressed in gold and her 3 young cousins, Phoebe, Annie-May and Harriet were dressed in burgundy.

Here in England Easter is a 4 day holiday starting with Good Friday and finishing with Easter Monday both bank holidays. On Sunday after attending church we went to my sister Sarah's for a very yummy dinner and spent a lovely afternoon together.

On Monday we were up fairly early as we wanted to get a lot done, from mending computers and having a real good clear out as my wonderful husband is a bit of a hoarder.
