Sam tagged me ages ago....
Here are the rules.......
Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post the player then tags 5 other people and posts their names and leaves a message on their blog letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog to get directions. I’m not sure if I’m going to tag anyone because those I know have already been tagged if you follow.
1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Well 10 years ago we were living in Shepshed in our modern 4 bed detached home (somewhat different from the 350 year farm house that we now live in). Steve was running his business from our converted garage and we were both distributors for an American company called ‘Nutrition for Life’. We were in the Coalville branch and Steve was serving as the 1st counsellor on the Stake Presidency. Aaron was 16 in his first year of A-Levels, Jessica nearly 13 was into her dancing and singing and Beth at 4 was attending play school 3 half days. Life was good.
2. 5 things on my to do list
My first thought only 5 to do things!
1. lose weight and get fit (that is always on my list and my mind). Beth says I obviously don't want either that badly otherwise I would do something about it!
2. get up to date with my journal
3. sort out my computer inbox and all my paper work
4. sort out all photo’s and get up to date with putting them into albums
5. Have a good tidy up and clear out as we have several house guests in May!
3. What snacks do I enjoy?
Oh my goodness, I love chocolate (I am a chocoholic), chocolate Brazil nuts, chocolate peanuts and raisins, homemade cookies and cake. On the healthier side I do like some cereal bars, but I am fussy and only like the ones with lots of nuts and dried fruit and I make my own fruit smoothies, 100% fruit and fruit juice. Oh and when I’m in the states I substitute chocolate with salsa and chips and ice cream as they do those much better then we do, pity they can’t do better on the chocolate!
4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
I believe the only way you could live a happy life with that kind of money would be to give, give, give. It would give me the chance to make a difference in people’s lives as I would love to do charity work and just help people that I know that struggle. It would also give me opportunity to spend more time with my family.
5. 3 bad habits
Only 3 bad habits!
1. when I’m talking I sometimes I sometimes switch conversations
2. staying focused and not getting distracted (maybe I ADHD!)
3. Not looking people in the eye when I talk to them (according to Steve)
6. 6 places I lived
London (I was born there)
Surrey
Reading
Newbury
Leicester
Loughborough
All in the UK
7. 5 Jobs I've had
Waitress
Shop assistant
Bank Clerk
Telephonist/Receptionist
Top Avon Rep for the UK
8. 5 things people don't know about me
1. As most of you know I am named after my parents my Dad Leslie and my Mum Ann hence my name is Lesley-Ann. But most people don’t know that I don’t like being referred to as Lesley and hate being referred to as Lesley Presbury spoken or written, it just makes me cringe as it doesn’t sound nice. Ok I’ve got that off my chest.
2. I was born with a heart murmur
3. I’m very claustrophobic because as a child a horrid boy push me in to a lift (elevator) as we lived in a flat (apartment) on the 1st floor (2nd floor to my American friends), where I remained on my own for what seemed like a life time but (probably about 20 minutes) until my mum found me. As a result of that incident I hate lifts and will only use them if I’m with someone and the lift has a phone in it or I have a mobile phone. But not too long after that happened my mum went to our next door neighbor to ask her to get something from the shop as my sister and I had chicken pox. I panicked when I saw the door shut not realising that it was on the latch and feeling trapped I started to climb out the window and down the drain pipe, but fell landing in long un-cut wet grass on my bottom winding myself pretty badly. I was taken to hospital to be checked out but I was fine.
4. The first time I met Steve was when he was on his mission and I was at a young adult convention in Bristol where he was serving. A large group of us had just been swimming and were heading back to our digs when one of our girls shouted there’s Steve Presbury and everyone prompting ran to greet him. Well I had heard all about this Elder Presbury and seen pictures of him and thinking he was not bad looking, I kept my distance as I didn’t look too good with my wet hair and no make-up look.
5. When I was nearly 18 I spent 6 weeks in the states and I didn’t want come home and when I did all I could think about was finding away to go back there to live. Within 4 months of returning home my family moved to Loughborough were there was a great young adult programme and my Dad was concerned that I might go back to the states and stay their illegally. So he gave me some very sound and inspiring counsel and told me that if I immersed myself in the young adult programme, I would find a worthy young man to marry without having to go back to America. He was right within a year Steve had returned from his mission and as they say the rest his history. And had I been a boy my name would have been Stephen John, which is Steve’s full name!

Hi- hope I didn't make you feel bad last night! But I guess at least I have influence! lol! Was fun to read- gave me something better to do than washing up!
Wowzers, funny how I have already heard most of those stories. I remember you telling me the story of the first time you met dad when we were driving in the car. I've always loved hearing wonderful life stories like that.
You are a chocoholic! I don't know anyone else who loves chocolate more then you. As for american chocolate I found this delicious one here at smiths, it quite expensive but WOW its incredible.
Its weird thinking you were a young person once.
