Ok well the reason I have not posted anything for awhile as that I have been otherwise engaged as they say! We have had a crazy 6 weeks having fun and exciting times with our family here, there and everywhere.

On Friday 19th September Aaron, Kimberly and Josh arrived from Utah, having had a reasonable trip considering Kimmy was 12 weeks pregnant.
To help Joshua feel at home I purchased some Thomas Tank Engine bedding, a duvet cover set, fleece blanket and slippers, you see Josh just loves Thomas. He was so excited to see where he was sleeping (we made the office opposite Aaron and Kim's bedroom into a bedroom for Josh) and he went to bed like a dream in spite of the time difference. Saturday was a very busy day for me with a surprise birthday party planned for Kimmy that evening, she knew we were inviting a few of their friends around but didn’t know in celebration of her birthday which was the following Friday.
So we sent Aaron, Kimberly and Josh off to visit Steve’s Mum and Dad. Dad was actually in hospital, where he had been on and off for several weeks with his spondylitis, which is an inflammation of a vertebra and extremely painful.
On their return the busied themselves getting ready for the evening, but Kimberly soon became aware that something was going on when the guests started presenting her with cards and gifts and her suspicions were confirmed when we all burst into singing Happy Birthday to her. We all enjoyed a fun night of food (including a large Chocolate Fudge Brownie Birthday cake), games and chatter.
The reason for the early presentation of her gifts was because the 6 of us flew to Paris, France for a 4 enjoyable days later that day. We arrived at the Marriott Village at 9.30pm where we had a luxury town house.
On Friday 26th was Kimberly’s 24th birthday and we spent it at Disney. It was a lovely sunny warm day; we went on rides, watched shows, saw many Disney characters and had a birthday dinner for Kimberly at Disney’s yummy Steak House. The staff all sang Happy Birthday to Kimberly while presenting her with a plate of 4 little deserts with a lighted candle in one of them. We all had a wonderful day and returned to our home for a relaxing evening.
We dashed from Notre Dame to the Arc de triomphe and Champs-Elysees to the Sacre Coeur to the Moulin Rouge and then to the Eiffel Tower, we were shattered. Beth, Steve and I headed back to our lodgings with Josh, leaving Aaron and Kimberly to spend some time together Paris one of the most romantic cities of the world.
Sunday we spent a quiet day in and around our house, holding our own sacrament meeting, which was very spiritual as we shared scripture and thoughts together. We had lunch outside where we made a new friend - a young swan that we named Sweetie, because of her sweet and tame nature. There were lots of facilities at our disposal, indoor and outdoor pools, several parks, lovely walks and a stream with several of ducks. I made a yummy dinner and we spent a nice evening together.
Monday was our last day in France and we finished up by going and having lunch at the Planet Hollywood just outside Disney. We had a good journey home, flying in and out of East Midlands Airport; which is only 15 minutes from our home.
Before Aaron went home on Saturday 4th he and Kimberly went to Chatsworth House, Sherwood Forest and Cadbury’s World as well as visiting several friends. Aaron only had 2 weeks off work but Kimberly and Josh got to stay another week and Steve took them to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Park, Oh and Josh loved it.
